From remote towns to beachside havens.

Homestay Week is an opportunity for the participants to travel the country and see their partner's living environments.

It's also a great chance for them to meet each other's friends and family members, and see if there could be a potential future in their romance.

Visiting each others homes also gives a very real look at what their lives could be like if they continue on in their relationships outside of the experiment.

From Sydney to Darwin, each of the participants had very different experiences during Homestay Week – and while some were positive, others were not.

As one of the most loved-up couples in the experiment, Ollie and Tahnee couldn't wait for Homestay Week.

"I'm feeling excited that Ollie's in my apartment," Tahnee beamed to cameras.

"Showing Ollie my lifestyle here in Sydney, what Bondi is like... and just showing him what our life could look like."

But Ollie was met with a little bit of a surprise as he walked into his wife's studio apartment in one of Sydney's most expensive suburbs – Bondi.

The space itself is a lot smaller than Ollie's back in Perth.

"It's very snug, very cosy. She pays more for this than I do for my joint in Perth!" he smiled to cameras.

"I own a townhouse. She's paying more. That's on the housing crisis."

But he said that in the end, "It's not the location – its's the person. So that's what you have to pursue."

Tahnee's kitchen is connected to her lounge and bedroom, and features a baby pink mini make-up fridge, toaster and kettle. Because, why not?

She also made space on the counter for the couple's fish, who they adopted during the experiment.

Right next to the kitchen is the toilet and shower area.

"You can give me the tour?" Ollie smiled, as the pair remained standing in one spot.

"There it is, you can see everything in the one space! Bedroom, lounge room, beauty room, kitchen," she replied.

Ollie then pointed out how close the toilet is to the bed, adding: "Usually we try to avoid listening to each other in the toilet.

"I'm just going to have to take a walk or something, as I'm still under the impression you don't do poos!"

Ollie laughed to cameras as he explained how Tahnee referred to small sections of the apartment as separate rooms.

"You wouldn't believe it, but you're actually talking to me in a separate room right now!" he told cameras placed less than a metre away.

Tahnee made sure to fit in the necessities, including a section for her designer bags and shoes.

And here's a closer look at the baby pink appliances, located next to her skincare.

After the tour of the apartment, the couple took in the gorgeous views of Bondi Beach.

Over a bucket of chicken, Ollie admitted he couldn't definitely see himself moving from Perth to live in Bondi with Tahnee.

"I can see myself dabbling around this area, maybe pick up surfing, get a spray tan, whiten my teeth..." he said.

"You know this is close to where Harrison lives?" Tahnee replied, to which he quickly responded: "Maybe a little more inward..."

Bronte was absolutely in her element as she introduced her husband Harrison to her life in Perth.

After an incredibly rocky week which which saw the couple almost split up, the duo appeared to have a whale of a time as they drank some local wines and went on a trip to the beach.

Bronte then showed Harrison her gorgeous apartment, which featured a soft beige colour scheme, lots of plants and full-length windows to see the view outside.

But it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows for the couple, who quickly got into another argument – this time, over Bronte being so happy in her hometown.

Harrison said he was worried that with Bronte's safety net and family and friends, she wouldn't want to move to Sydney to be with him.

"I just feel like the way Bronte talks about being back here, I don't think she's ready for this next step with me," Harrison told cameras.

"I wouldn't have come on this experiment if I wasn't willing to move for love," Bronte said.

Things got drastically worse when they met up with Bronte's sister, Kirra.

Before long the issue of Bronte moving to Sydney came up, with the groom saying he needed more reassurance from his wife.

"What more were you looking for other than, 'Yes I will 100 per cent move?'" Kirra questioned him.

Bur Harrison claimed Bronte never said those words.

Bronte said she did, and Harrison was adamant that it "never happened".

The whole argument then exploded, with Kirra telling the groom: "You're not going to sit here and be held accountable for being a narcissistic, gaslighting d---head."

It's fair to say it wasn't the most positive Homestay of the week.

Power couple Melinda and Layton were in high spirits as they rocked up to her home in Brisbane.

The couple shared a few laughs before jumping in bed and sharing a cuddle.

Melinda's home is just as stylish as you'd imagine – cream furniture, impeccably put together with enviable views of the city.

However, it didn't take long for the couple to get into a row.

This time? Over a wardrobe door.

Layton left said cupboard door open where there was dust, and Melinda has a dust allergy.

From there ensued an argument over communication and things spiraled out of control pretty fast, and the pair's kayaking date was ruined.

Melinda stormed off from her husband, and they never did enjoy that scenic cruise they were looking forward to.

Later in the evening, the pair enjoyed a picnic together outside which Melinda had set up.

But they again got into a raging arguement over their future together.

"The picnic is not the romantic movie love story picnic I'd hoped for," Melinda sighed.

They eventually both became very upset and Layton stormed off.

He told cameras: "There's two people here who really like each other and care about each other but just can't seem to communicate."

As he visited Evelyn's home, Rupert reflected on the past Commitment Ceremony where his wife claimed she wanted to be "courted" more.

He took the opportunity to set up a paint and sip session for his bride, to show her how much he cared.

Rupert set up lots of props for Evelyn to dress up in, while he did some painting.

"This is so sweet to me," she told cameras. "Rupert's first attempt in wooing me is definitely not going to go unappreciated."

Evelyn's home is as classy as she is, featuring chic furniture with a warm and lovely colour scheme.

The couple spoke about their goals and future plans as they painted together, and it's fair to say Rupert's idea was a big success.

After taking their relationship to the next level by doing the deed, Rupert met with Evelyn's mum Yvonne to discuss about the future of their relationship.

Rupert said "distance is going to be the hardest thing" with him living in Queensland and Evelyn in Sydney.

The groom said he wanted to focus on the now and "it hasn't even crossed his mind whether or not he would move to Sydney."

"I need to be in love or falling in love with someone to commit," Rupert told the mum and daughter not realising what exactly he'd said.

The admission was a shock to Evelyn who felt like she'd been "slapped in the face".

"The fact that he doesn't even know how he feels about me this far along in the experiment is extremely concerning," Evelyn told cameras.

"It's left me more confused than ever and in all honesty I'm hurt."

After a tumultuous few weeks for the couple, Lyndall and Cameron were finally heading to a place where the groom felt his very best – Darwin.

Yep, the country boy finally got to take his wife to experience the great outdoors away from the city, and the place he loved so much.

"We're home, finally back in the Territory. Different vibe to Sydney, that's for sure," Cameron told cameras.

Before taking her home, Cam was sure to pick up a special someone along the way – his beloved dog, Bodhi.

"Every time I imagine what Cam's life is like, it's exactly this," Lyndall beamed to cameras.

"This is who he is, and he's really happy. It makes me feel a little bit smitten, actually!"
