Pedro Pascal has quickly become one of the most recognizable faces on the internet.
His spike in popularity can be attributed to his appearances in The Mandalorian, Narcos and his hit HBO show, The Last of Us. On top of all the places he appears on screen, Pascal is on everyone’s phone.
A few weeks ago, a meme of him and Nicolas Cage in their movie, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, began to circulate online. The meme features Cage delivering a scolding look, while Pascal gives a beaming smile back to him.
The meme was great to show when two people weren’t seeing eye to eye, but there is a new Pedro Pascal template that is perfect for solo opinions.
Now, TikTokers are using a CapCut template of Pascal eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich — which came from a video of him and Jon Favreau comparing American and Chilean snacks — by himself with melancholy music in the background. It currently has over 215,000 uses on TikTok.

“When it’s 9:30 a.m. and you’re already making your way through your lunch,” wrote @kaylwrighty in her post.
Some of the videos use the meme to portray users doing mundane activities, but others are using it to show TikTok their inner thoughts.
“Me sitting alone in my bedroom after a large group gathering thinking about all the social cues i missed and what i should have said in conversations instead,” said @heystraights in their post.
With multiple Pedro Pascal memes trending at the same time, TikTokers have taken notice of how much they are seeing him.
“I LOVE HOW PEDRO PASCAL IS ALWAYS A MEME HELP,” said @f1lthn.
The rise of Pedro Pascal has been quick, and it’s happened easily through the help of TikTok memes.
