If you have been around Warrick County over the past few days and noticed a traveling toilet in people's yards, you might be wondering what's up with that. Here's everything you need to know about this traveling toilet.

The Boonville High School After Prom Committee has gotten very creative with how they plan on raising money for this years After Prom Party. They want the students to have the best time ever that night, and in order to do that, they need to do some fundraising. So, they came up with a very fun and unique way to raise money that involves the residents of Warrick County getting in on the fun too.

The committee was inspired to raise money for After Prom after some of the kids saw a TikTok video about a traveling toilet. They all loved the idea and thought it would be a cool way to raise money, and possibly turn this into an annual Boonville High School tradition. It's called the Prom Potty, and you might have seen this traveling toilet all around Warrick County, including the Sherrif's Office.

It's a pretty simple concept. This Prom Potty gets sent to someone's home or a business for a price, and it gets removed for a price as well. You can also take out "insurance" to make sure that it doesn't get put on your yard.  According to the Prom Potty form:

Of course, it should be noted that for the safety of the volunteers, you should only select recipients/locations that you know would be receptive to this fundraising approach. Don't just send it to your neighbor across the street that you don't like.

You can send the Prom Party anywhere within Warrick County. The deadline to submit your order is April 17th. The timing of removal and delivery will be dependent on the number of requests and the availability of our volunteers.  All proceeds will go directly to support the BHS After Prom festivities. You can learn more, and make your orders by clicking here. I love this idea, and I know just who I will send it to...

Oh, and remember...this toilet is not for actual usage. If you have to go to the potty, use the one inside your house, not outside!
